Science Park, also known as Science Park/West End, is a station on the MBTA Green Line and is located at the Boston end of the Old Charles River Dam at Leverett Circle, near the intersection of Nashua Street and Charles Street (Storrow Drive). The station is served solely by the Green Line's "E" Branch. The station is undergoing construction of elevators on both sides of the station to make it completely accessible. The inbound elevator is scheduled to open in 2011.
On January 21, 2009, station signage was changed to read Science Park/West End, although the new name will not be on any MBTA maps or publicationsThe Station was Opened on August 20th.1955 and in 1997 353,600 Passengers used the Station.
The station is elevated and is not accessible. Wheelchair visitors to the Museum of Science might consider the Lechmere stop, a few blocks away.
