Kenmore (also known as Kenmore Square) is an dual-island platform rapid transit station in the Kenmore Square area of Boston, Massachusetts. The station, owned and managed by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, lies on the Green Line's "B," "C," and "D" branches. When entering the station, trains on the "C" and "D" branches are on one track and trains on the "B" branch are on the other track. It is located at the intersection of three major road and rail transport arteries: Commonwealth and Brookline avenues and Beacon Street. The station is five stops and a twelve minute ride from Park Street, the hub of the Green and Red Lines. Opened on October 23rd. 1932 and in 1997, nearly 2 Million Passengers used this Station.
