Édouard-Montpetit is a station on the Blue Line of the Montreal Metro rapid transit system, operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). It is located in the Côte-des-Neiges area of borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
It is a normal side platform station. Opened on January 4th.1988, and in 2006, 1.3 Million Passengers used thsi Station.
Édouard-Montpetit metro station takes its name from the street under which it lies: Édouard-Montpetit Boulevard. The boulevard in turn takes its name from Édouard Montpetit (1881–1954), a Quebec lawyer, economist and academic closely linked with the nearby Université de Montréal.
