Château d'Eau is a station of the Paris Métro, serving
Line 4 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.
The station was opened on 21 April 1908 as part of
the first section of the line from Châtelet to
Porte de Clignancourt.
The Rue du Château d'Eau is named after a fountain
erected in 1811 at the intersection of the street and
the boulevard du Temple.
The tunnel entrance in this station is remarkably decorated.
